Description
This special compilation features all of Elvis's 1950s releases, from his Sun debut 'That's All Right' in July 1954, to 'A Big Hunk O' Love' in June 1959.
When asked to comment on Elvis Presley's death, in 1977, John Lennon famously said that as far as he was concerned Elvis had died when he went into the army, in 1958. Whilst all Presley fans have their own favourite 'Elvis period', there can be no real doubt that he was at his absolute peak in the 50s, when he first came to power as 'The King Of Rock & Roll'.
This special compilation features all of Elvis's 1950s releases, from his Sun debut 'That's All Right' in July 1954, to 'A Big Hunk O' Love' in June 1959. Arguably the most influential body of recorded work of all time, this is effectively 'The Very Best Of Elvis In The 50s', as every track included herein was a hit.
