She proved the harp could play bebop as adeptly as the instruments commonly associated with jazz. Presented here is one of her best albums, The Jazz Harpist, presenting her in a quartet format backed by Frank Wess on flute, Eddie Jones and Wendell Marshall alternating on bass, and Ed Thigpen on drums.
