Description
Singing and praying is an essential form of searching for God. Short, constantly repeated chants create an atmosphere in which one can pray in a collected way.
The songs from Taize were initially written for the meetings where young people from all over the world come together in the community of the brothers in Burgundy. However, they are also suitable for prayers in smaller groups and for church services.
This CD was recorded in March 2024 in Rostock with the choral choir and soloists of the St. Johannis-Kantorei Rostock under the direction of Markus J. Langer.
