Description
Oklahoma songwriter Cater Sampson has been recording and releasing albums for the last 20 years. Her previous albums were produced in a studio setting using a full band. "I play a lot of solo shows as well as with a band and wanted a stripped down recording to highlight the songs and me singing them." In November 2024 Sampson teamed up with long-time bandmate and engineer Kyle Reid to record two live shows at The Blue Door. The Blue Door has been the premier listening room in Oklahoma City and a home base venue for the artist for many years.
Carter Sampson Live at The Blue Door will be released on Horton Records and contains 19 tracks of songs and stories.
