After their 50th anniversary, the Kraut- and Prog-Rock cult-group Birth Control released 2016 a new
album, which came out on double-vinyl on the occasion of the 2018 Record Store Day.
In April this year, Birth Control played a gig with new band members at the Harmonie in Germany's former capital Bonn. It was recorded and will be released December 7th 2018 in a special CD+DVD-package.
It contains the special live-atmosphere of the gig and transports without losing impact.
The recording contains new material and well known classics. Handmade, down-to-earth grooves, thrilling harmonies, burning solos and soul-rocking vocals set the audience on fire. 115 Minutes of Birth Control live – this CD+DVD-package is a must-have-item – not just for fans.
The original cast of Sascha Kühn (organ / synths), Martin Ettrich (guitar / talkbox) and Hannes Vesper (bass) rocks since 20 years. A few years ago, some other guys joined the band: Peter Föller (vocals) and Manni von Bohr (drums); both veterans, who played with Birth Control since the 70s and collaborated on several albums.
A professional film team recorded the gig for this Live-DVD using 8 cameras and high quality 32 channel audiorecording-equipment. The viewers will experience an audiovisual event of particular greatness, which documents Birth Controls energy and joy of playing lossless and vivid.
