Description
Billy Fury was by far the UK's most credible and charismatic Rock & Roller and his 1960 10" LP 'The Sound Of Fury', is acknowledged as the UK's finest ever Rockabilly album.
This compilation features Billy's first eight singles; a couple of stereo and/or alternate takes; the 10" LP in both mono and stereo; Billy's home-made demos of these songs; live tracks from Saturday Club, Oh Boy! and Boy Meets Girls; and a handful of demos he recorded in 1958, before he became famous.
Included are his earliest UK hits, "Maybe Tomorrow", "Margo", "Colette", "That's Love", "Wondrous Place" and "A Thousand Stars".
