Manchester-born singer Alexander Stewart is just 23 and has a warm, urgent voice that shows off his early love of Billie Holiday and Tony Bennett. But this is no nostalgia act. He has a decidedly contemporary energy level, stamping his mark on great pop songs as well as on clever re-arrangements of some famous standards. He has already appeared on stage with Curtis Stigers and Buddy Greco at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and sung live on ITV1's Alan Titchmarsh Show.

All Or Nothing At All features a stellar band of bassist Gary Crosby, saxophonist Nathaniel Facey, trumpeter Freddie Gavita ,drummer Andy Chapman and Alexander's MD, pianist and arranger Alex Webb, whose original track The Hard Way features a vocal from China Moses, daughter of Dee Dee Bridgewater.

There's a space between Georgie Fame and Plan B, between Mark Murphy and James Hunter, where musicianship meets soul, and stories of love and loss are told over a powerful acoustic groove. It's where you can now hear Alexander Stewart.
