Giovanni Venosta transcribed and re-orchestrated these ten tracks from the original recordings and vocalist Sarah Stride performed the lyrics (with the help of an exact phonetic translation). The goal was to re-create the magical and joyful atmosphere of the original recordings, with the addition of a little Italian attitude. Sonata Islands is a chamber ensemble founded in 1998 by Emilio Galante, whose members change from project to project.
