    The great David Lynch, who sadly died on the 16th of January 2025 achieved worldwide fame as a filmmaker, films that include music every bit as surreal as his films. Throughout Lynch's films and TV series, music often marks the crossing of a threshold into some strange, alternate reality. From Mulholland Drive to Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks, Lynch's greatest works blend surreal mystery with haunting beauty, creating worlds that linger long after the screen fades to black. All his works reveal a keen ear for unusual, evocative musical choices.

    David Lynch's remarkable legacy was honoured by the BFI (British Film Institute) with a season dedicated to his work, which took place throughout January 2026.
