The Violin Concertos recorded here are among the best known of the great IXXst century production for violin and orchestra, and see as a soloist one of the reference names among XXst century violinists. Nathan Milstein was not a neophyte in this repertoire, having performed these concerts accompanied by the most famous international orchestras and the greatest conductors. However, his interpretations remain a model within a discography which, without his contribution, cannot be considered complete. From the old Columbia and Capitol engravings, Urania restores the preset selection, which is reproposed with a new code, after the previous edition (WS 121.153) sold out in a few weeks.
