KLEIN IST DIE WELT is the second Trikont record by Banda Comunale (aka Banda Internationale). Everything there is to say about it is explained here by Banda Comunale personally: "The musical endeavor of Banda Comunale, or Internationale, in recent years has been to present a cultural antithesis in a social mood dominated by right-wing populist, xenophobic and Euroskeptic tendencies. The consequences of the Corona pandemic hit us as an intercultural, politically and socio-culturally active, publicly visible band existing since 2001 at the height of this commitment. Our central Brecht program with Bernadette la Hengst on Flight and Expulsion at the Volksb?hne and Kampnagel in April and May 2020 could not take place, as well as about 50 other performances in Germany and abroad. A fate we share with millions of musicians worldwide. We go first and come last, as it says in "Systemrelevant". Performances of the whole band in front of large audiences will probably not happen in the medium term.
