27 years after its original release sees the first reissue of this seminal 80''s album. In 1985, with no demos but with a fanatical live following, Thrashing Doves infamously signed a two album recording contract with A&M Records.
This followed a wellpublicised bidding war amongst the major labels. Bedrock Vice was made with contributions from widely respected record producers, Chris Thomas (Sex Pistols, Pretenders), Jimmy Iovine (Patti Smith, Simple Minds), Bruce Lampcov and renowned mix expert Bob Clearmountain (Roxy Music, Bruce Springsteen, Tears For Fears).
This CD release features the 12 original tracks plus six bonus tracks. All the bonus material is appearing on CD for the first time. The album has been remastered for this release using, where possible, the original masters.
The CD booklet features all of the original album artwork and has been expanded to include comprehensive sleeve notes written by the band - sharing their memories of the day! Also included is a pictorial UK Discography and other memorabilia from the band's archives.
