Formed in Geneva in 2006, Swiss extreme metal band Rorcal marks two decades of existence with Mahre, their seventh studio album. Drawing from doom, black metal, industrial and drone, the five-piece has spent twenty years pushing its music towards increasingly hostile and uncompromising territories.With Mahre, Rorcal descends into a nightmarish world where dreams behave like infectious agents, spreading from sleeper to sleeper until reality itself begins to dissolve. Shadows become moons, moons become demons, and decay unfolds into an endless labyrinth from which there is no waking.
