€ Don't Speak' is a fast-paced and gritty number - a product of Bristol's thriving post-punk scene. Rehearsing next door to bands such as IDLES and Squid, Hypothetics have made the most of the creative community at Factory Studios, where an accompanying live session, being released shortly, has been shot. Produced by Dom Mitchison (Heavy Lungs, wych elm) a bouncy bassline, undercutting jagged guitars and drums, is met by crude choppy vocals.

Whilst remaining gritty and hard hitting, Newborn is Hypothetics' most personal and explorative work to be released so far.
€ I remember it being the first song we'd written where I didn't feel any pressure to be rapping or shouting or doing an impression of anyone else. It felt to me we were all finally comfortable with what we were bringing to the music as individuals €
