Description
March 2017 marks the first Flying Luttenbachers performances in more than a decade. The band originally existed between 1991 and 2007 and ran a renegade stylistic gamut from hardcore Free Jazz improvisation to rigorous Modernist composition under the dictatorship of composer and instrumentalist Weasel Walter. To celebrate the band's return, SKiN GRAFT Records is reissuing their breakthrough 1996 "Metal Jazz" album "Revenge Of The Flying Luttenbachers" in a newly remastered edition. Called "Mindblowlingly Exciting" by Spin and named one of the "Top 25 Albums of the Year" by Guitar Player Magazine, "Revenge" is a milestone in extreme outsider music.
