Description
In 1981, the ECBB brought together well-known musicians from diverse parts of the English folk scene in what was considered an innovative, barrier-demolishing blend, naturally anglicising blues and old-time country and finding new ways of looking at British traditional songs and tunes. The core trio united Maggie Holland, Ian Anderson and Rod Stradling.
Other regular members included Chris Coe, Sue Harris, John Maxwell , Nic Jones, John Kirkpatrick, Dave Peabody and Danny Stradling.The 21 tracks, totally nearly 78 minutes, come from their two albums, "No Rules" and "Home & Deranged" and one single, recorded between 1981 and 1983.
Digitally remastered from original tapes and completely re-packaged. As a bonus the CD concludes with a new recording featuring English folk icon Bob Copper.
