Project 11: The Landing

Description

Symakya is a symphonic progressive metal band founded in October 2008 by Matthieu Morand (Elvaron, AkromA, Dusk Of Delusion), Kevin Kazek (Seyminhol) and Thomas Das Neves (Heavenly, Deficiency). Although the three come from quite different but complementary backgrounds, they decided to put their heart and soul into this new project, combining power, melody and just the right amount of prog. These musicians are now ready to put their vast musical experience at the service of Symakya. Bass virtuoso Julien Kuhn recently joined the band. Symakya's debut album "Majestic 12: Open files" received unanimous critical acclaim on its release in 2011. It has therefore taken 13 long years to complete its successor. They created a universe of conquest, of beliefs and mythology that reveal a sort of metaphysical or ufological thinking. Their unique style draws inspiration from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) and the powerful essence of the '90s power metal scene with a touch of progressive elements. The "Project 11" album, a logical follow-up to the previous opus, was mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studio.
