Johnny Paycheck (1938-2003) was one of the great maverick honky tonk heroes. For this tribute, producer Robbie Fulks put together a top-notch band (including Lloyd Green on pedal steel and Redd Volkaert on electric and acoustic guitar) to support a variety of guests performing 16 of Paycheck's best loved recordings from his 'Little Darlin' (1960s) era as well as his chart-topping hits in the '70s.
