Following the structural foundation laid by the project's breakout singles "Night Light" and the title track "Illusions", the full EP stands as a striking philosophical assessment of the modern human condition. Age Of Illusions serves as an artistic reflection of cultural anxieties surrounding hyper-technological advancement, guiding the listener through a deliberate sonic architecture of self-discovery, spiritual rebirth, and final enlightenment.
With over a decade of production and songwriting credits - including work with Jorja Smith, Olivia Dean, Maverick Sabre, Lola Young, and K-pop icons BTS - Charlie J Perry is no newcomer. But as Common Saints, he is carving out a sound that is wholly his own: immersive, spiritual, and soaked in cinematic depth.
That sound was first fully realised in his debut solo album Cinema 3000 in 2024 - a 14-track odyssey that cemented his signature blend of rich sonics, ambient soul, and emotional honesty.
