Description
Starpoint was one of the most famous American disco funk groups from the 80’s. In total they released 10 highly successful albums and over the years built a big international Fanbase which still exists today. Their most successful album, Restless, reached gold status with sales exceeding 600,000 copies in the USA. On Casablanca / Chocolate City Records, Starpoint released a number of albums which, despite a great deal of demand, were never released on CD. That’s why PTG Records has already released the albums Keep on It, Wanting You, All night long and It’s So Delicious. But among fans there was still demand for Stapoint’s debut album, hence the re-issued on CD. Starpoint features their first hit single "I Just Wanna Dance with You", which reached the Top 20 in the USA R&B charts. With the release of this first Starpoint album, PTG has now re-issued the band’s five first albums. -
