Description
'Hard Rock Cachet' is the vision of Grammy award winning drummer Sonny Emory, previously with such top drawer acts as The B-52's, Earth, Wind & Fire, Steely Dan and Lee Ritenour. Two old friends, Eric Clapton and Bruce Hornsby, are both on board for this latest project which fuses Rock and Funk seamlessly in a high-energy musical experience.
Also featured on Sonny's album are the stellar vocals of Shayna Steele who has performed with such greats as Bette Midler and Rihanna, and keyboard genius Morris Pleasure. Twelve, mostly self penned, tracks make up this driving set which also includes his take on an undisputed Rock Classic, Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein".
