From the very first listen, it exudes an immersive and smoky atmosphere, much like early black metal classics such as Bathory's *The Return...* or Mayhem's *De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas*. However, where those albums were icy and grim, this one feels more triumphant and warm. The thin, yet well-layered guitars and the riffs that spill out in endless waves over rapid snare hits create a sense of forward momentum that's both hypnotic and invigorating.
