Walter Feldmann is a unique composer in the field of Swiss contemporary music. His works are, as the title suggests, 'geometric glimmers', conceived and imagined between poetry, measurement, and tonal differentiation. The works for ensembles and soloists recorded here were also strongly inspired by French Impressionism and literary Symbolism. The meticulously researched texts by Annemarie Albiach and Charles Racine open up sound spaces that bring iridescent palettes to life. Featuring sopranos Jenny Daviet and Anne Catherine Gillet; they are accompanied by the Blattwerk Quintet, the Berner Chamber Orchestra and Walter Feldmann himself.
