Signed to Communion Records worldwide, US 5-piece brigade Rubblebucket have unveiled their powerful new single "Carousel Ride", the first track to be released from their upcoming Carousel Ride EP out August 11th. Packing a punch, "Carousel Ride" sees Rubblebucket pursue a bold musical approach that focuses on strong colourful riffs, radiant horns and front-woman Kalmia Traver's sweet, compelling vocals.

Produced and mixed by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Modest Mouse, Anna Calvi) and recorded at Mission Sound Studio in Brooklyn, Carousel Ride EP showcases the band at their creative best. Paying an extraordinary amount of attention to detail, the EP's musical clarity spectacularly arises somewhere between the tracks hard-hitting arrangements and fun but thought-provoking lyrics.

Rubblebucket was originally born while Kalmia Traver (lead vocals / baritone sax) and Alex Toth (backing vocals / trumpet) were attending university together in Vermont. Following graduation, the two linked up with friends Adam Dotson (trombone), David Cole (drums), Ian Hersey (electric guitar) and 15-seater van Puppy, and started taking the Rubblebucket show on the road. Renowned for their hectic, dance-inducing live performance, the band have already toured extensively throughout the US, and made their television debuts on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in 2012.

With an extremely devoted following in the US, Rubblebucket are leaving their homeland for the first time and are heading on a month long European Tour which includes shows in the UK, Belgium, Germany and a highlight appearance at Glastonbury Festival at the end of June.
