Description
Sought-after Spanish version of the Rolling Stones' classic 'Get Off Of My Cloud' on side A, backed with the '60s dancefloor gem 'Cha Cha Twist' - a killer R&B-flavoured mover. Essential DJ spins! Of all the Rolling Stones covers released in Spain during the 1960s, this version of the classic 'Get Off of My Cloud,' retitled here as 'Aqui en mi nube,' recorded by Sonia and originally released at the time on the Belter label, has become the most sought-after by collectors and DJs around the world. Original copies of the record are virtually impossible to find today, making this reissue a much-needed rescue, rounded out by another killer track for the dance floor. 'Cha Cha Twist' is a stunning recording made in the States by Spanish singer Margarita Sierra in 1960. She went on to become a television star in America, and the track was released in Spain a couple of years later. Somewhere between R&B and twist, it fits perfectly into what some may call "titty-shaker" - an absolutely irresistible dancefloor mover
