This edition of "Transition II", features newly remixed & remastered bonus compositions from the seventh Lunatic Soul album, "Through Shaded Woods".
The release includes such tracks as "Transition II," "Vyraj," "Hylophobia," as well as the previously unreleased recording "Realm of The Weeping Willows," whose first sketch was created during the 2020 recording sessions.
"Transition II" turned out to be one of Lunatic Soul's favourite instrumental compositions. Unfortunately, due to its length (nearly 28 minutes), it was never released on vinyl. Now, however, in a slightly shortened & more concise form (23 minutes), it can finally appear on LP.
Lunatic Soul's founder & leader Mariusz Duda wouldn't be himself if he didn't add something previously unheard, so the release also includes a new piece, "Realm of The Weeping Willows," which began taking shape during the "Through Shaded Woods" sessions but was completed at the beginning of 2026.
As a result, an exceptionally cohesive release has been created - one that presents Lunatic Soul from a very intriguing, instrumental perspective, reminiscent of the early albums of - for example: Mike Oldfield & Dead Can Dance.
Additionally, as Mariusz Duda says: "This is an album that arrives at the perfect moment."
One might ask - why now? Why return to this composition and release it again only at this point?
"Because Lunatic Soul is changing - says Duda - After completing the eight albums that make up the dark cycle 'The Circle of Life & Death,' Lunatic Soul is transforming into a project where more musical light & hope will begin to emerge. And 'Transition II,' as a release, already contains these brighter elements & exists precisely between the old & the new."
