"British Steele" is a comprehensive chronicle of Tommy's first six years as a recording artist. It contains the A and B sides of all of his singles from 'Rock With The Caveman' to the end of 1962, plus a selection of bonus tracks culled from his EPs of the period.
All of Tommy's biggest and best known songs of the 50s and early 60s are here, including Top 10 hits that range from 'A Handful Of Songs' and the chart-topping 'Singing The Blues' to comedy favourites like 'What A Mouth' and 'Little White Bull'. Also included, for the first time on CD, is Tommy's spoken word entry in 'Weekend' magazine's 'The Truth About Me' series.
