Description
The Everly Brothers occupy a class entirely of their own, by far the most gifted vocal duo of all time and a major influence on every vocal harmony act who followed them, in particular, The Beatles. This compilation features all their singles between 1956 and 1962, including a couple of rare UK-only B-sides.
Between 1957 and 62 they recorded a devastating body of work, enjoying almost unparalleled success - which included fifteen million selling singles - for the Cadence and Warner Bros labels.
Their biggest hits during this period were "Bye Bye Love", "Wake Up Little Susie", "All I Have To Do Is Dream", "Bird Dog", "Problems", "(Til) I Kissed You", "Let It Be Me", "Cathy's Clown", "When Will I Be Loved", "So Sad", "Walk Right Back", "Ebony Eyes", "Temptation" and "Crying in the Rain", which can all be found on this compilation
Also included, as bonus tracks, are four releases on Don Everly's short-lived Calliope label, including his US Top 40 hit "The Graduation Song", which carried a label credit to Adrian Kimberly.
The Calliope singles are much sought-after collectors' items and have never previously appeared on CD.
