Immediately after launching his Inbidimts Records label in early 1969, Keith Hudson scored a major Jamaican hit with the Ken Boothe 7', 'Old Fashioned Way’.
Further hits swiftly ensued and by the start of the new decade, Hudson was firmly established as one of Jamaica’s most enterprising and inventive music makers.
His standing on the reggae scene continued to grow in the years that followed, with his output including some of the most popular and exciting recordings of the early 70s.
Yet, despite the enduring popularity of Keith Hudson’s work among reggae connoisseurs, few compilations of his early recordings have appeared, the most recent being the long-deleted 2004 set, 'Hudson Affair’.
Now, a new generation of reggae fans can discover why he is held in such high esteem by so many music aficionados, with this 2CD collection bringing together many of his finest productions from the golden age of Jamaican music.
