Description
Although she couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, fifteen year old actress Hayley Mills, the youngest member of the highly respected Mills acting dynasty, enjoyed a worldwide hit record in 1961 with the million-selling 'Let's Get Together'.
She'd originally sung the number in her internationally acclaimed movie "The Parent Trap", and it was issued as a single due to public demand.
Its success led to an album and a handful of follow-up 45s, all of which are collected together here with an EP of songs from an earlier movie, "Pollyanna", as well as soundbed recordings from each of Hayley's first five movies, including "Tiger Bay", "Whistle Down The Wind" and "In Search Of The Castaways".
Much of this material is hard to find elsewhere on CD, while the soundbed recordings have never previously been commercially released. -
