Description
Life Ain't Worth Living in the Old-Fashioned Way is the debut album by Paul Downes and Phil Beer, released in 1973 on the legendary Kentish label Sweet Folk All and Country. Now remastered and beautifully restored.
Phil went on to play in the Albion Band as well as his solo works and played with the Rolling Stones on their Steel Wheels tour. More recently famously recognised for his work with Steve Knightly as the folk duo Show Of Hands.
Paul Downes solo career has spanned many years and his more modern collaborations with Mick Ryan's themed Folk Opera's up and down the country.
