Ewa Serafin's Lite Rekviem - Small Requiem (2021) is a deeply personal and lyrical cycle, unfolding the traditional Requiem Mass in six movements that balance fragility and strength, sorrow and serenity. Jon Mostad's Musical Icons (2019-21) forms the centerpiece of the album. These six movements draw from biblical texts and imagery, each a sonic icon that evokes awe, mystery, and spiritual depth. From the fiery drama of In storm and consuming fire to the quiet grace of Our Father, Mostad's music invites reflection and reverence.
