Whinnie Williams is pleased to announce her debut EP Bad Girl- released 6th October via London''s Night Beach Records. The EP is available in both digital and super limited edition, coloured 12" vinyl format.
Whinnie Williams has spent the past year in the studio working on new material, dropping free digital mixtapes to her fans as an introduction to the world of Whinnie. This forthcoming Bad Girl EP represents her first official body of work. The EP was written in collaboration with Future Cut, the power production duo behind some of the biggest hits from pop royalty including Lily Allen, Olly Murs and Dizzee Rascal.
Musically, the EP draws on a rich palette of 1960s influences - from her favourite French 60''s chanteuses to the orchestral arrangements of Andrew Oldham Orchestra, underpinned with a quintessential British Mod cool that acknowledges the song-writing of the Rolling Stones and The Kinks. The Bad Girl EP is unashamedly feel-good pop.
Whinnie Williams has written for artists including Madonna and Nicola Roberts; and has toured with Ellie Goulding and La Roux. Whinnie also has a feature vocal on the forthcoming Professor Green album and is currently back in the studio writing her debut album.
