Description
Trace Elements are those specific components in nature that, acting in a very small quantities create important effects, because of their specific and special characteristics. In a world full of commercialism, it is rare to come across an individual who has the simplest of goals: sharing their music with others. Trace Elements is an idea, a worldwide project always changing, exploring new borders, where the musicians that take part make important contributions to the way the music is presented. Even if all the music is composed by Paolo Di Sabatino, performed with all the subtletly of a concert pianist and with the sophistication of the finest jazz pianists, it is the contribution of the musicians, as important “trace elements of an organic body, that take the music in unforeseen directions that never fail to amaze. The first album had John Abercrombie as guest and now a new album has been recorded with the rhythm section led by the great Peter Erskine and the excellent Janek Gwizdala on bass… pure acoustic gems. Next Trace Elements put new sensibilities on the table: the 6 strings bass genius Christian Galvez and one of today’s most requested drummers: Jojo Mayer….a more electric set, another approach led by the Fender Rhodes. In July, 2015 Trace Elements will invite the great Dennis Chambers to join them, who will contribute his art and his musical thinking to the project, a new step to move forward. Trace Elements is ready to go...
