Gelb Ist Das Feld (Yellow Is The Field) is the new album by Bilderbuch, released three years after their last album "Vernissage My Heart", which reached number eleven in Germany and number one in their native Austria. Once again they show their broad musical spectrum, ranging from indie pop and post-punk to alternative R'n'B, art-pop and hip-hop.

Bilderbuch were founded in 2005 as a school band in Upper Austria. It consists of singer Maurice Ernst, guitarist Michael Krammer, bassist Peter Horazdovsky and drummer Philipp Scheibl. To date they have released six albums, four of them on their own label "Maschin Records". All four reached number one or two in Austria and the top 20 in the charts in Germany. This makes them currently one of the most successful Austrian pop acts in the German-speaking world.
