Description
The music of ace saxophonist, producer, composer and arranger Leo Gandelman is an amalgam of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) and Jazz, created in a very vertasile and inventive way.
A major artist in his native Brazil, Leo came to prominence internationally with his series of Verve albums which were released worldwide.
His infectious, highly accessible contemporary style of playing, somewhat influenced by David Sanborn has led Leo to be elected "The Best Brazilian Instrumentalist" 15 years in a row by the critics in Jornal do Brazil, the leading Brazilian newspaper.
