Description
Released in 1973, Atlantis is the landmark prog-rock album by Dutch band Earth And Fire. Founded by twin brothers Chris (guitars) and Gerard Koerts (keyboards), with bassist Hans Ziech, drummer Ton v.d. Kleij and female vocalist Jerney Kaagman. The A-side is the full suite "Atlantis" based on the story of the greedy and corrupt island of civilization, ultimately destroyed by the four elements, fire, water, air and earth. The B-side features the single "Maybe Tomorrow, Maybe Tonight" which reached top ten positions in both the Netherlands and Belgium, alongside four additional tracks that showcase the band's melodic range and lyrical depth.Atlantis is available as a limited edition on turquoise coloured vinyl, includes an insert with lyrics and is packaged in a gatefold.
