Across the group's 20 year history, Martin Archer and Herve Perez have never allowed their electronics duo Inclusion Principle to stand still. What you hear on post_[*] is a single continuous improvisation for the duo's laptop, synths, keys and devices, subsequently edited. They then orchestrated the new arrangements with composed parts and improvised horn sections. They decided to return to an idea which they'd been hoping to realise for a number of years, and feature a number of special guest musicians on drums, bass, guitar and trumpet - Adam Fairclough, John Pope, Chris Sharkey and Samuel Ehret-Pickett.
These recordings have been finessed via Herve's very detailed and focused production style - a forensic examination and sculpting of every single moment of every audio element present.
They think the result is an excellent representation of the Inclusion Principle sound developed over the past two decades into its most perfect expression to date.
