Description
Mike Stern, one of the most recognised guitarist of his generation, joins the Heads Up roster with a sensational debut 'Who Let the Cats Out?' A veteran of bands with Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Billy Cobham and the Brecker Brothers, Stern has more recently had a successful solo career, with 12 releases as a leader. For his 13th outing, Mike is joined by a stellar list of musicians including Richard Bona, Roy Hargrove, Anthony Jackson, Meshell Ndegeocello, Kim Thompson, Dave Weckl, Victor Wooten and others. The 11 original compositions blur the boundaries between jazz, funk, blues and rock, in a style that Mike has made his own.
