George Thorogood & The Destroyers
Description
The "Satan of Slide", as the international press calls George Thorogood because of his grand talent for the use of the bottle neck, is mixing urban blues, rock'n'roll and rythm & Blues and created a set with songs of well-known artists like Elmore James, John Lee Hooker, Bo Diddley or Chuck Berry. The critics agree that he is playing in the same league with Johnny Winter or Rory Gallagher.
The band interrupted their US tour to fly over to Germany for this gig, so they were in perfect shape and raised the tension from the opener 'House Of Blue Lights' over the popular 'One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer' and the current hit single 'Who Do You Love' to the furious finale with Chuck Berry's 'Reelin' And Rockin'.
