  • Description

The Green House Band performed folk-rock very much in the style of Pentangle, with less prominent echoes of other '60s/'70s British folk-rock bands like Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span, on their 2004 debut album, 'Mirage'. The band includes British folk-rock veterans in guitarist/mandolinist Graeme Taylor, who is in the prog-folk-rock band Gryphon, and in the Albion Band; drummer Michael Gregory, who was also in the Albion Band as well as in Fuchsia; and bassist Dave Berry, who played with both Taylor and Gregory in the John Kirkpatrick Band. Lead singer Madeleine Worrall is known more as an actress in British theater and television with her recent appearances in Midsomer Murders and the hit film Paddington . Following Mirage they then went on to release on download only 'Big Sun'. Here we bring both albums together in this special Anthology of the band and for the first time on CD Big Sun.
