  • Description

This is the second Greentrax album by the Prestonpans (East Lothian) singer Alex Hodgson, the previous being 'Jeelie Jars 'n' Coalie Backies' (CDTRAX351), released in 2010. Alex is a hugely popular singer and entertainer in Scotland and has on several occasions sang for the Queen at Balmoral Castle. Alex has also sung in the Scottish Parliament, on BBC Radio Scotland, and, further afield, in South Africa and Malaysia.

He has been a finalist in 'Burnsong' twice and has written many fine songs. He is a member of Kilmarnock Edition which arose from 'Burnsong'. Alex has appeared in many amateur stage presentations and he also has a great interest in storytelling. Alex is an all-round professional with a huge following, particularly in lowland Scotland.
