Description
Originally released as a 12-inch single, "Waterfall" by Atlantic Ocean is one of those defining tracks that sits squarely at the crossroads of early '90s trance, progressive house and the vibrant European and UK club culture of the era. Produced in 1993 by Dutch electronic duo Lex van Coeverden and Rene van der Weyde, who had previously collaborated under various aliases including Pegasus, the track quickly became a dancefloor classic.
"Waterfall" climbed the charts across Europe, reaching #2 in the Netherlands, and made a strong impact in the UK where it peaked at #22 in 1994. A fresh set of remixes revived the single in 1996, pushing it back into the UK charts at #21, cementing its status as a long-lasting club anthem.
