Description
Conceived as the natural follow-up to 'The Many Moods Of Interaction', the duo recordings by Italian drummer Tiziano Tononi and Emanuele Parrini (Felmay 2021) that was so well received upon release. This new offering is meant to be the expansion of most of the concepts the two musicians explored in the demanding duo format, both in terms of sounds and the ability to develop a higher level of interplay, no matter how enlarged the band setting could be. Differently from the long thought-about 'Winter Counts' (We'll Still Be Here!) (Felmay 2023), the Native Americans inspired and dedicated work by Tiziano Tononi , this musical journey turned out to become a just-play session, and to this regard the mutual knowledge among the five components of the unit was definitely key-factor to go for the final result. Knowing that the common background the band could share would have been a door-opening factor to the new compositions, the materials the two leaders brought in played an important role in defining the direction of the music herein contained. Not very much to read, but a lot to play. from the suggestions of the written pages...this was the main direction everybody endorsed so well, and most of the most inspired episodes you can enjoy listening to this record come directly from this playing philosophy.
