Darek Janus is known for his cooperation with the most outstanding performers of the entertainment and classical stages. His intention is to create a sonic illusion of impressions and emotions in a transparent manner. The album features compositions in which one can hear reminiscences of moments of calm, safety, of encounters with extraordinary people, including during his Croatian holidays. Selected preludes with characteristic Balkan rhythms, virtuoso etudes and nostalgic waltzes - they create a mosaic of original, engaging miniatures for four hands and two pianos with a jazz and classical tone.
The AHHA Piano Duo or Aleksandra Halat and Agata Holdyk are renowned pianists awarded in international competitions; they also constantly expand their solo and pedagogical activities. In their interpretations, they present not only the pianistic craftsmanship and an excellent mutual understanding, but also a deep comprehension of the artist's musical language. They feel equally at ease both in the uniform, rhythm-driven etudes and in the swaying narrative of the waltzes, giving the listener clear suggestions of particular impressions and moods.
