Born in Spokane, Washington, Danny O’Keefe emerged during the golden age of the American singer/songwriter. While his biggest success came with the enduring 1972 hit 'Good Time Charlie’s Got The Blues’, his catalogue reaches far beyond a single song. Across a series of albums for Atlantic- and Warner Bros-affiliated labels between 1971 and 1979, O’Keefe created an exceptional body of work that drew together folk, country, blues, rock and jazz, earning admiration from critics and devoted listeners alike.
