Description
In Parallel brings together three composers writing at the turn of the 20th century whose voices, from very different backgrounds, share a deeply expressive Romantic language: Rachmaninov, Amy Beach, and Alma Mahler. British-Persian cellist Ariana Kashefi, renowned for her lyrical playing and expressive musicianship, and award-winning Russian-born British pianist Petr Limonov, winner of the Nikolai Rubinstein Piano Competition and a pupil of Maria Joao Pires and Dmitri Alexeev, present a programme shaped by more than a decade of collaboration and refined through live performance.
