Description
Strange Hellos started as a studio project in the autumn of 2015 by Odd Martin Skålnes (Aurora), Birgitta Alida Hole (Lumikide), Fredrik Vogsborg (The Megaphonic Thrift, Casiokids) and Even Kjellby (Great News). The 'super group' sessions didn't disappoint, quickly producing a big sound, catchy melodies, dreamy vocals and dirty guitars, forming a new brand of power pop that deliciously references the likes of Teenage Fanclub and Cocteau Twins.
The album was recorded in Lydriket, Bergen by songwriter and producer Odd Martin Skålnes. Mastered in London at Abbey Road Studios by Alex Wharton.
