A brand new album from the richly-talented Brian Kennedy. As the title suggests Brian refreshingly gives his interpretations to a unique collection of beautiful songs which include 'You Are So Beautiful To Me' (originally sung by Joe Cocker), "Night & Day" (Frank Sinatra), "Let's Stay Together" (Al Green) and "Gaye" (Clifford T Ward). The album is full of great surprises as Brian effortlessly crosses musical genres and eras - songs from the past and present.
The album brings together the richness and purity of Brian's vocal, accompanied by a 40 piece orchestra and some of the best rock musicians in Ireland. An emotional and spellbinding highlight of the album is a track called "Galileo" (originally performed by a new rising Irish artist called Declan O'Rourke - In Q Magazine, Paul Weller was asked what song in the last 20 years did he wish he'd written and he chose "Galileo").
The album has been produced by Billy Farrell and Fiachra Trench - who collectively have produced and arranged for the likes of Bono, Van Morrison, The Corrs, Westlife and Elvis Costello. -
