On March 25th, Toronto avant-pop experimenters Bernice will follow up their Polaris Prize longlisted 2021 LP Eau De Bonjourno with Bonjourno My Friends, an EP featuring seven remixes of songs from EDB.
Frontwoman/Songwriter Robin Dann was unabashedly positive when asked about the project.
€ What was better than my birthday this year? Receiving the tracks from some of our favourite musicians for our upcoming Bonjourno My Friends remix EP. € she said.
While the band was unsure what their contemporaries' responses would be when tasked, the overall sentiment was unquestionably positive.
€ We were incredibly lucky (and in some cases shocked) that these people quickly said YES when we asked them to take their pick of a song off of our last record to reinterpret. € -
